The front and back covers carry partially silvered and patinated bronze reliefs where a frame of wild plants contains the title of the book in raised letters (on the front) and a feather (on the back).
The artist’s use of plant motifs as an additional means of expression is the finishing touch in the illustration of the biblical text, its concluding metaphor. Plants are a basic symbol of the living earth and the cyclicality of nature: birth, death and rebirth.
The book has a storage case decorated with fabric.
